South Indian Fish Curry & Fish Fry.

Fish curry:
Ingredients:

Fish - 1 kg
Shallots/ small onions( sliced) - 1 large cup
Tomatoes (sliced ) - 5 to 6 number
Tamarind - 1 large coconut size ( juice extracted )
Cononut - 1 full coconut milk extracted ( or equal amount of diluted coconut milk powder)
Fenugreek or methi seeds - 1 teaspoon
Coriander and curry leaves ( finely chopped ) - 1 cup.
Green chillis ( slit across ) - 5 to 6 number
Red chilli powder - 8 teaspoons
Turmeric powder - 1 teapoon
Coriander powder - 8 teaspoons
Table salt - 8 teaspoons
Green mango - 3 number

Note: salt, red chilli powder and tamarind juice are to be in equal ratios.

Fish fry:
Ingredients:
Red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste.

Ginger garlic paste / cumin powder or ready made fish masala available in market can be added for additional flavours.
